November 19, 2004   Extra Innings Unveils "Play The Game" Equipment and Apparel Line

Middleton, MA - November 19, 2004 - Extra Innings, the Middleton, MA based indoor baseball and softball training facility, today unveiled the new Extra Innings brand of apparel and equipment. The Extra Innings product line is designed for baseball and softball players by people who play the game and is available only at Extra Innings Pro Shops.

The Extra Innings "Play The Game" apparel line features socks, hats, sliding pants, game pants, hitting shirts, coaches shirts and practice jackets. The equipment line features batting gloves, bat bags, balls and training devices.

Extra Innings socks, pants, equipment bags and batting gloves will be available on December 1, 2004. The rest of the line will be available after January 1, 2005.

September 10, 2004   Extra Innings Launches New Website 

Middleton, MA – September 10, 2004 – Extra Innings, New England’s finest year round indoor baseball and softball training facility, today announced the launch of its website designed to meet the specific needs of its customers.

The website, www.extra-innings.net, offers each visitor access to detailed information on our facility and services along with enhanced content, navigation and usability. A new shopping cart feature will be added in October to allow customers a safe and secure way for purchasing all of Extra Innings services online. The new Extra Innings website was developed by WebGreen IT.

“Our new website provides the visitor with more detailed information on our facility, services and continuing commitment to our customers and improving the way area baseball and softball players train,” said Joe Luis, co-owner of Extra Innings.

August 16, 2004   Extra Innings Unveils New And Improved Batting Cages

Middleton, MA – August 16, 2004 – Extra Innings, New England’s finest year round indoor baseball and softball training facility, today introduced new and improved coin operated batting cages by Automated Batting Cages, Inc.

The new state of the art baseball and softball pitching machines feature a height adjustment gauge that allows users to tailor pitch height to their individual strike zones.

“These new machines will allow players of all ages, heights and skill levels to use all of our baseball and softball batting cages,” said Pete Feeley, general manager and hitting instructor at Extra Innings. “By practicing hitting pitches that are strikes, players will not have to worry about developing bad habits from swinging at pitches out of their strike zones.”
